I use +bitch on many of my channels with a large botnet and that doesnt happen to me ...

Some possible things is .... Maybe the users information is not properly stored on the bots that deop that user ... one way to check is as soon as one user is deoped then sign on to that same bot and whois that users handle on the bot. In most cases it might not have his updated user information or Host and thus it doesnt see him as a bot.

Another possiblity is that bot is on a split server where it doesnt see the first bot as in the channel when it goes to op him. So it sees that User gain ops in an unknown fashion and thus protects the channel and deops him.
Statistics: Posted by Moonster — Mon Nov 03, 2003 3:32 pm

Hi

I have a small botnet of 12 bots, all using netbots v4.09 and eggdrop v1.6.15 (exept for one bot running 1.6.13). I have one channel where I want to use +bitch and I have defined this in the config file of all bots. The bots accepts the config and sets the channel in bitch mode. But the problem is that a short while (5-30 minutes) after a user op's himself through one of the bots, he gets deoped again by one of the bots (randomly).

Has anyone encountered this problem before and maybe found a solution to the problem? All hints and tips are welcome
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sun Nov 02, 2003 1:41 pm
