Is this possible with tcl?

Ok, well seeing as how i dont know anything about tcl can someone give me any pointers or examples to show me the best way to go about doing this? Should each xdcc bot have its own log file? or can they all be logged to a huge array of some sort?

I have seen scripts written for mIRC called xdcc catchers which record anything saib by an xdcc bot and make what they record searchable by the user. Can something similar be written in tcl?
