did you write the correct ip? is the computer connected directly to internet or through a lan?

hmmm theres no nat, only one nic card, i set the myip variable....still the same thing. ne ideas?

just check out your network, it seems to be a bad configuration of you firewall.
And if you have multiple IP, check your "my-ip" variable.

I have tried diff networks,diff servers,diff irc ports,even many diff eggdrop version and can't seem 2 get it 2 work. It always returns this message. i'm using red hat 9, can ne1 help.
