It should be putquick "PRIVMSG q@cserve.quakenet.org :AUTH ShedBot **PASSWORD**" notice that I've replaced MSG with PRIVMSG and after the destination of the msg I've added :

I use quakenet, and the Q and L bots there op people when they enter channels that that they own.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make eggdrop type the command to auth upon joining the server.

this is what i have so far :-

# This is a Tcl script to be run immediately after connecting to a server.
bind evnt - init-server evnt:init_server

proc evnt:init_server {type} {
global botnick
putquick "MODE $botnick +i-ws"
putquick "MSG q@cserve.quakenet.org AUTH ShedBot **PASSWORD**"
}

this doesnt appear to work. does anyone know why?
