setting ban time to 0 *should* keep the ban forever. Sometimes egg gets confused w/ this setting and arbitrarily deletes bans on its own after an hour even tho its set to 0, in which case you case it to 100000. enforcebans simply kicks ppl that match channel bans

yes, the bot won't remove the ban from the channel since ban-time is 0.

enforcebans will kick a user if he's banned and still in the channel. so it won't effect this

Hi, I've done a search but yieleded no results. So here goes, if my channel is set to +enforcebans ban-time 0 +dynamicbans and someone comes into channel with a matching hostmask for one of the bans on the bot's internal ban list, then the bot activates a ban and places it on the channel's ban list, then kicks the user. Question is how long would that ban stay on the channel's ban list before a bot removed it? Is it a permanent since ban-time is set to 0 ? Also, what would happen if enforcebans was set to disabled, would it affect the outcome? Thanks.
