also the hello only works the first time the bot connects to IRC with 0 users, and if the bot said you have no password then you didn't set any password

Check in your .conf file the learn-users.

Running windrop 1.6.15 on a win2k box. Mainly because for some reason ive never gotten eggdrop to run on my OSX mac, but thats not what im asking.

Anyway, everything works fine, except the bot will not respond to any Hello messeges to create a new user. No response at all. Ive rechecked my conf file many times trying to figure it out, and have no idea :/

A user can telnet in just fine and say NEW and recieve a new account, but msg on IRC will not work.

Also when i first installed, i msg'd the bot hello when it showed up, and it worked fine, i gave it a password, then later when i tried to telnet in to admin and play with it, it said i had no password. So i had to restart with a new userfile and make the admin account with telnet.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
