I just set up my eggdrop today, this is my first time doing it, but when its connected, about every 5 minutes it gets disconnected exiting like:

I would give more information on it, but i dont know what to give. I will give it to you on a request basis.

Can the bot receive messages from the server (e.g. channel chat) and can the bot send back messages to the IRC-server?

You may also check the PING-PONG between server and bot:

- in your config file "set raw-log 1".
- on the partyline set your console to +rv and then wait for the PING-PONG to happen.

does it give you any error message in the partyline before quitting ? (check the logs in the eggdrop's /log dir)

otherwise its a problem from your provider.
