ok, i can get my bot to op me with the "/msg Botnick op #chan" line but is it possible for the bot to do it automarically?

i did the following in telnet:
.chattr Narwhal +a #TEsM
but my bot still will not OP me.

I have a shell account where i have setup my bot and have everything running smoothly except for a few problems. I am behind a NAT firewall so i can not DCC Chat to my bot. i can telnet but when i telnet to my bot it asks for my nickname and when i ebter my nick the session just closes. What i am really trying to do is get my bot to recognize me in a channel and op me. Can anyone help with this situation? Thanks!
