thats a common problem... +a ( protect) mode is not rfc compliant and not one eggdrop knows how to handle... if he gets the +a first he wont even see the +o happen

think i found prob seems to be if a room has +a mode on users the bot doesn't see the +o given to it......... when it joins a room...

i don't think its that rick.... using same config as i had before they worked fine... seems to be like werid in some rooms it ok in others it just says needs ops.....

check your net-type setting... sounds like its wrong for the network your bot is on

hi can anyone solve this for me my bot starts & joins room all ok gets ops from channy no prob but for some reason when i do a .status in dcc its says it has not got ops & requires them. if i try to set any room modes from a public msg tcl it won't set the mode cos it thinks its not opped, yet it is ?? i have tried rehash & cycle but still get the same until i de op it then re op then it seems to be ok...
