The internal exempt and Invite system in eggdrop, is only available on servers that support it.

If a ban is set, it prevents +enforcebans from taking acation on people that are in the exempt list.

The exempt list itself (Stored with the IRCD, much like the ban list), allows a user past a ban blocking them, if there host is in the exempt list. Eggdrops exempt support, is to make sure that it doesn;t kcik them, just coz they are banned.

The Invite system is pretty much the same. You set an invite mask on the server, and any1 matching the mask, trying to join that channel, while set +i (invite only) are allowed in.
Statistics: Posted by ppslim — Thu Nov 29, 2001 6:37 pm

Can anyone tell me how dynamic exempts work. Is it just like a counter action on a dynamic ban stored by the bot, or can they be requested and applied to the channel when the channel ban is sticky ?
Statistics: Posted by GQsm — Thu Nov 29, 2001 6:24 pm
