you'll need to set the ports up in the config file as well, in the example used 31337 would need to be the port set in the config, default is 3333? i think 'listen 31337 all' If your trying to op a 'nickname'and user@host then you'd do .+user handle nickname!*user@host.com and .chattr handle +a but the user would need to join using the nickname, otherwise the autop wont work

actually its one or the other.. if you set the channel +autoops you dont need to give the person +a... +autoops ops all +o users on join
+a will autoop that specific user on join... i would suggest this route if you feel the need to use autoops at all

how to add autop

.+user nickY *!*lala@lolzy.com
.chattr nickY +ao #channY
.chanset #channY +autoop

how link bots

imagine two bots, called HUB and LEAF.
on HUB do:
.+bot LEAF some.host.com:31337
.chattr LEAF +of
.botattr LEAF +gs
this means "share globally (as master)"

on LEAF do:
.+bot HUB other.host.com:0815
.botattr HUB +gph
this means "share globally (as slave) & use HUB as main hub"

hint: on HUB you must add HUB bot, too. when its sharing its user data to the client bots their records will be overwritten...
some more tricks in detail but you must find out yourself
