do owners of bot cannot get kicked when floods to chan even if the flood protection is set to the channel?

i configged my flood settings in my bot..
i am the owner of the bot.. and i tried to test the bot so i flooded..
but the bot does not kick me... is this natural?
but when other users flood the channel.. they get kicked..
