With 40 bots, this is going to be painful, although if you have $nb_groups already set in your netset.tcl that may make it easier.

The script is intending to prevent or act upon floods, and having soo many eggdrops join a channel at the same time is a flood!

chanlimit.tcl wasn't written with extremely low settings in mind (i.e. people who want 1 or 2 over the limit checked every 1 or 2 minutes or less), and you probably shouldn't deviate from the default settings by more than 50%. You could also:

3) Try the updated chanlimit component 4.09.1 from the netbots.tcl page and see if the cl_priority setting helps.

hello, sorry for my bad english. i have netbots 4.09 with limit priority but wenn server off with 40 bots and they came back its limit flood.

i have a privat server and 16 bots on another shells. my server its going sometimes down. wenn the bots come back, its limit flood on the chan.
my privat shell have 40 bots. wen server is startet the bots (40) join all in the chans now. but with the limit does not go. every bot they can´t join because limit is full questions bots in the chan limit is set higher to the bots they are in the chan and have op.

gives an opion that can set limit for this mass join fore time x higher than 5 steps whenn more than 10 bots came back ?
