The fixcodes status has never been saved.

The logic prior to the fix, meant that in some situations (those where ECHO was set to ON), you had to type ".fixcodes" twice, to make the fix apply itself.

.fixcodes now operates like a switch (on/off) action, like it was orignal designed for.

I have proposed a long term fix, which would store the fixcodes setting in the console. I only sugested it, because it seems that it wouldn't even break backwards compaitibility for usersfiles (though shareing is another matter).

This is likely not to be taken up. The CTCP method is a workaround to save opening a telnet client.
Statistics: Posted by ppslim — Thu May 22, 2003 5:54 am

Hi all,

Reading the list of bug fixes for 1.6.15 I see that .fixcodes has been sorted. But am I missing something? I have to CTCP my bots, and eachtime I login I have to .fixcodes, it doesnt seem to save this this. Maybe this wasn't what the bug related to fixcodes meant?

Any ideas?

Flux.
Statistics: Posted by Fluxism — Thu May 22, 2003 5:44 am
