- people can add quotes to a database of quotefile using public command (i.e. !addquote).
- people can ask for a random quote using public command (!quote)
- people can ask for a quote from a named person (!quote whoever)
- bot automatically quotes from a person's quotes when that person joins channel.

Any more ideas?

Okay, If I can find the time, I will try to code something like this. It might be usefull for my own bot as well... As soon as I got something that *works* for me, I will post it here. It might be of help if you post a link to a qoute script or a greet script which might help me...

This was not as simple as loading two seperate scripts. He wants a greet script, that uses a random stored quote from a user.

Looking for a combined quote and greet script ...

have looked though slennox tcl archive ... and there areloads of good quote scripts .. and loads of good greet scripts ...

BUT

I can´t find a single one where u can manually add quotes ... AND have the bot greet users with a random quote (from that user ofcourse)

If any of U have sucha a script/know of it .. plz let me know :)
