HMM - As far as I am aware, this is not strictly possible, and would heavily depends on the messages involved.

I would need to see the exact work path of a example transfer, used in each client.

IE, who sends what, where, when, and what is each peice of data for?

This would be needed for both resume types.

i just tried, with XChat windows client etc it works, but not mIRC style

some ppl told me it would be possible to write a TCL that converts the incoming mIRC style DCC Resume request to Default eggdrop / XChat / BitchX style request so the bot can handle it, but they have no idea how to do this (neither do i).

From what I understand, this is a limitation.

It is almost 2 years since I last heard any details about DCC resume in eggdrop. If I remember rightly, eggdrop does have support, but not the type that mIRC uses. BitchX uses can resume.

Don't take my word on it, as I havn't looked, and it's hear-say that may mind recalled.

I'm currently trying to set up my bot as fileserver, but somehow it seams eggdrop cant handle resume requests.

Did i only miss an entry in the bots config file or is it some eggdrop bug / limitation ?
