For five month ago had I configured a working windrop bot, now I´ve converted one of my computers to a linux machine.. So after some hours of doing nothing so decided I to get eggdrop, everything successfull.. I configured the bot, I got some warning that it couldent create a channelfile.. I think that is becuase i runned ./eggdrop -m mybot.conf instead of running ./eggdrop mybot.conf.. Anyway to my problem I cant get on to any irc channel.. And I dont see the error.. I thinkg i´ve done everything as I did last time.. The only thing I can remember that was diffrent was that there was a resolve.conf file under windrop nameing the nameserver... otherwise nothing..

I can post you the .config file if you want, but as I´m only running a prompt without any grafical-interface So I don´t know exactly how my little tabletop windows machine to get it.. Then can I maybe give you a better clue if I´ve done something realy stupid.. :/

(My config file dont got any comments except them i´ve wrote in for errorsearching..
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sun Mar 09, 2003 9:03 am
