Eggdrop 'boot'

It pretty much sounds like there is are a few stray files, under the other username.

TO save complication, compile, install and launch the bot using one username.

IE, in this case, redo the whoile compilation process, and from the correct directory (the users directory, as it has the correct permissions set).

Don't try install & start an eggdrop with the root user. Install and use it with other user.

Please help,

I'm trying to start my eggdrop but when I do it says:

[17:18] Can't load modules dns: /root/eggdrop/modules/dns.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied
[17:18] Can't load modules channels: /root/eggdrop/modules/channels.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied
[17:18] Can't load modules server: /root/eggdrop/modules/server.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied
[17:18] Can't load modules ctcp: /root/eggdrop/modules/ctcp.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied

I made a special account (eggdrop) for running the eggdrop as it won't start as root. I've tried changing the dir to owner eggdrop, changing the file permissions but nothing works.

What am I doing wrong?
