There are two config file settings that can help.<br><br>set telnet-flood 5:60 (5 connects in 60 secs is considered flood, and so it puts the host on ignore.. play with it to suit your needs)<br><br>set paranoid-telnet-flood 0 (1 or 0, if its 0 then it wont put someone on ignore who has the flag +f)<br><br><br>Also type .help *telnet* To get an indepth on these settings.<br><br><br><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=13">Yourname</a> — Mon Nov 12, 2001 5:11 pm</p><hr />

hey<br><br>I've got a problem, every time I have to restart my bots, or they reconnect for some reason, the hub bot keeps adding the address of the other bots (As they're all the same) on ignore...<br><br>&lt;^TWiNBoT^&gt; [15:45] Telnet connection flood from -telnet!<a href="mailto:telnet@my-hostname.com">telnet@my-hostname.com</a>!  Placing on ignore!<br><br>I have to remove the ignore manually or wait for it to expire, is there some way I can add this as like a trusted address?<br><br>I'm supprised the bot doesn't work out that the address is its own really, <br><br><br>any ideas? or would this require a simple script to remove the ignore when its placed?<p>Statistics: Posted by Guest — Mon Nov 12, 2001 1:47 pm</p><hr />
