yep there is like 2-3 of those lines you need to comment out b4 eggy will load. They are there to make sure you read through the Config. I guess it worked hehehe

you need to make sure you eggdrop .conf has all the lines :
die "Please make sure you edit your config file completely."
have a comment "#" in front of them
ie:
#die "Please make sure you edit your config file completely."

Please help me! My bot don't want to came to IRC!

It's a bot for linux. the ./configure and make command ran well and i think i configured the conf file well, but when i try to run the but it say:
"Eggdrop v1.6.13 (C) 1997 Robey Pointer (C) 2002 Eggheads
[23:10] --- Loading eggdrop v1.6.13 (Wed Jan 29 2003)
[23:10] Listening at telnet port 2002 (all)
[23:10] * Please make sure you edit your config file completely.
Press any key to continue..."

Why did it say that? If you have any idea, pliz write here!!
