The TclLib package includes a POP3 clinet, which you can use in your scripts.

i'm tired of allways staring my own win32 email checker to get my latest mail headlines, so i wondered if eggdrop could login to my SMTP / POP3 mailserver (NOT located on same pc as the bot) and send me a privmsg when a new mail arrives or better : if the mail header contains some special keywords to prefent flood.

Would be cewl if anyone got a script working this way or at least login in to POP3 etc servers.
