after spending weeks searching for a ready made script, i give up

is there a script that anyone knows of that will do the following

i am after a script that will search a given directory for a file name, then display the results publicly and then allow users to get filename via dcc

i.e.

!search "any text with wildcard capability"

!get "filename"


any help on this would be greatly appreaciated
