Need help for setting up psyBNC!

Here are 10 basic steps, if you have all the correct access on your shell then you would have no problem. This is for the latest psybnc file: psyBNC2.3.2-4.tar.gz

1) wget http://www.psychoid.lam3rz.de/psyBNC2.3.2-4.tar.gz

(If you don't have the wget command, download this file onto your PC, and upload it onto your shell in the root dir home/usr/username.)

2) tar zxvf psyBNC2.3.2-4.tar.gz

3) ./configure

4) make

(Then after it is installed onto your shell)

5) cd psybnc

6) pico psybnc.conf (or download it onto your hard disk, open it with notepad)

7) Change the default port number from '31337' to any from the range of 1024-65535 you would desire.

Save the file via pico, or upload and overwrite it.

9) Run the psybnc by: ./psybnc

10) Connect to your shell server, /server hostname:port

ok to add to the comment by ppslim if you dont bother to use the README files, before trying to set up a prog you will more then likley get it wrong cause each program has diffrent compile options, however i would check the psybnc site they have full instructions there

This is plain lazyness, and would result in your own wasted time, let alone ours.

Goto google.com and type "psybnc" and hit "Am I feeling lucky!"

That will zip your direct to a mroe than usful tutorial.

Also, even worse, as with all good programs, psybnc comes with a README file, which also contain a deceint set of instructions.
