Hey

nb_owner is set to 1
It was my fault, I understimated the "set owner" value in my bot's config files. It was set to just 1 out of 3 nicknames I use.
Thanks for suggestion, it's all running smoothly now

heavy metal be with you
denis
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Mon Dec 09, 2002 6:04 pm

Hmm, that's strange. The .components command doesn't obey nb_owner, but I don't think that was intended behaviour. Better fix that one.

When you use the .nethelp command, does it display the core netbots commands, and if so, are they titled "For permanent owners:" or "For owners:"?

Additionally, what is your nb_owner setting in netset.tcl, and what do you have "set owner" set to in the bot's config file?
Statistics: Posted by slennox — Sun Dec 08, 2002 8:07 pm

Hey!

Installed and configured netbots, it all seems to be running smoothly, don't get any error and components seem to be loaded..
the point is.. from the CORE commands I can only run
.nethelp
.components
Any other .netblabla command I try to run seem to be unknown to the bot, indeed it replys me back "what? u need .help"
I would be less puzzled if no core commands at all were accepted, but this way.. could it be some prob in the netbots.tcl itself? I got the files from egghelp.org and I'm running eggdrop 1.6.12 + ipv6.
I also tried to run an eggdrop 1.6.10 and I got same problem.

dunno really..

heavy metal be with u
denis
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sun Dec 08, 2002 12:35 pm
