All software should be compikled at user level, and installed with root.

Besides, eggdrop will not run as root.

when i type "make config"
the box will return this:

make: execvp: ./misc/modconfig: Keine Berechtigung (no permission)
make: *** [config] Fehler 127

Can somebody help me?

I'm running Redhat 7.3
