You stated that you have to .chan and .+chan. I am guessing this is to make it work correctly?

If so, then if it where possible to do this for static channels, they would likely function as well.

What IRC network are you on, and what IRCD software does it use? (Available on connect).

This is known to happen, on networks that do not returns a RFC complient /who replies. This may be the cause of your problem.

Try switching the server which your bot connects too, see if that helps any.

I'm not on <channel-name> right now!

where <channel-name> is the name of the channel when i want to perforn an action. For example: .deop MyNick #MyChannel
returns: I'm not on #MyChannel right now! - which is a lie ! because the bot IS on that channel, when i perform the action. it is also diplaying thoose status things like: #MyChannel: mode SomeOne '+o SomeOne'

this only happens after i made the channels static (using the config file), when i use dynamic channels, i dont get this, but i always have to .-chan and .+chan.

Any Ideas ?
