Yes, userfile sharing works between 1.6.8 and .9. It works with all 1.6 versions (afaik). Problem lies somewhere else. Try setting your console to see the botnet traffic, it might be helpfull.

I'm having a problem with userfile sharing; I'm getting the userfile written on a leaf (1.6.9) but its empty, and I get disconnects from the hub (1.6.8)during the timeout limit.

Are they compatable? If so, it's probably something newbie I'm doing wrong. They link ok, just can't seem to get a successfull userfile sharing going on.
