Activate some more of the console commands using ".console"

Specificaly ".console +so" or start eggdrop using "./eggdrop -n config.file" (and view the error on the shell console).

There should be more information, regarding what is happening witht he server connection.

sorry i should mension that im running

Eggdrop 1.6.12
on a redhat server

also, it seems as if the bot is waiting for more commands from ... me before it conencts to the channel

erm, i seem to be having a problem with my eggdrop thingy, im new to all of this, so bare with me, i set it up exactly, and customised the simple config and run it and well this is what happens

i tried it on different servers, including 1 that my friend owns and has eggdrops running on it,
and i get the same problem on each, it doesn't actually make it into the channel in question

any help?
