From what I can see, there shouldn't be anything wrong with the nb_groups. Can you paste your nb_group settings, so we can see if there is anything to enlighten us.

As for nb_defctrl, all instances, are directly set to nb_control, as if you had manualy set nb_control yourself.

Overall, we would need to see the relevent settings, and an example, showing when things do, and when things don't work.

1st of all .. thnx for a brilliant script ! (no not trying to win favours ) :)

2nd ... even though eggdrop allows [Bot] nicks using \[Bot\] , it seems netbots have probs with those [] nicks. Atleast I can´t get it to work with the nb_defctrl feature. All the bots use [] and when I choose a group to control I get a blank list of bots under my control.

possible to fix this ?

haven´t yet tried if the same happens the list of bots in chlimit ...
