Since alice.tcl (egghttp.tcl) require outbound access, you need to figure out what settings on your firewall you need to change in order to allow this to happen. I run a NAT server on RH7.2 and my eggdrop are hosted off that.. <br><br>The eggdrops is trying to connect to the internet on ip 192.168.100.6 (but that is a internal ip) <br><br>Fix:<br>mIRC<br>Goto file - options - connect - localinfo<br><br>Make sure that you have the ip that the internet is using in there!!<br><br>To get your ip just write cmd(win2k-winxp)/command(win98) in start and that will give you a msprompt window. In that write <strong class="text-strong">ipconfig</strong>. I currently have 3 computers behind a Freesco router.<br>Router: 192.168.100.1 + external IP<br>Eggdrop: 192.168.100.2<br>mIRC: 192.168.100.6<br>other: 192.168.100.7<br><br>I've tried changing the "my-ip" and "nat-ip" settings according to the numerous posts in the forum. Hi!<br>I can´t get alice to respond.<br>I belive the problem is that I can´t .chanset #chan +alice ??<br>or?<br>The bot is located at a comp. at the same network so I can´t DCC Chat with it.
