by the way this bot has no other port problems... such as dcc or telnet ... i realize this is probably a port issue but im baffled why its only to this other bot...
and i have another bot running on my comp... who also shares with this bot... same thing... this bot archangel was on a shell before.. now hes moved to a shell on my friends box but has the exact same settings and he allows the ports needed and errr archangel shares fine with other bots

Hub is set +ghp with the correct addy and ports
on hub.. leaf bot is set +gs with correct addy and ports

when i link from the leaf bot.... i get nothing... just hangs like it cant find the port
when i kill the attempt i get this..

now that bots port is 37890...and is set in the leaf bot as such... so why is the attempt going to a higher port??

now this leaf bot runs off my own comp... Fbsd
and archangel runs off fbsd as well
sauron has no troubles linking OR sharing to other bots... neither does archangel thats why i post this msg
while linking.. on a .dccstat i get this...

on sauron:

now these bots link no problems.. they simply wont share..
i have a port range set... and the ports are available
and yet the bot does not seem to use these ports
1124 is not what is set in his conf for dcc portrange i have 1030:1040 set and am allowing neccesary traffic

any suggestions?? or perhaps more info you need to help me?
anything would be greatly appreciated :)
