error using 'make' with eggdrop1.7 .

Error, user is using 1.7.

Eggdrop 1.7 is not a stable version of eggdrop. 99% of pages annoucing the last stable release of eggdrop, all point to eggdrop1.6.6.

The current directory on the FTP servers all point to beta versions of eggdrop. Allthough this is wrong, as current sugests stable.

1.7 should not be used, as it is nowhere near due for release.

After using the './configure' command, eggdrop asks to use 'make' afeter that.
But when I do, I get the following error:

What am I doing wrong. I never had any problems compiling eggdrop before.
