<blockquote class="uncited"><div>It depends how it is speaking/greeting.<br><br>Are you using a script to do this, or the eggdrops internal greet feature?</div></blockquote>I'm using an Alice (v1.1.4 - by strikelight) script to talk to users. And also a Greet script to greet people who are coming into the channel. But I can't find anything in those files that control the interval. Maybe I just put a 'sleep' command somewhere <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title="Smile">.<br><br>My problem is this. I have two <a href="http://www.alicebot.org" class="postlink">Alice</a> bots talking to each other (this is pretty fun, try it), but they talk way too fast, and one of my bots gets kicked for flooding <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Laughing"> . So I want to make the bot's talk interval 10 seconds or something.<br><br><a href="http://fatcat.ods.org/fatcatchat.txt" class="postlink">Check this file out</a> if you want to see the chat log <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title="Smile">.<p>Statistics: Posted by Guest — Fri Aug 09, 2002 9:58 am</p><hr />
