do u have the proper file permission and set da paths proberly?

actually da bot aint running on the background [ as far as i understand ]
do a ps x and look for the pid.

pay some attention to the file paths and other stuffs

get some simple file names.
like game.chan [ ur chan file name scared me ]

i hope itll b running.

so when I ./eggdrop -m GAMESNET.conf I get Couldn't create channel file: GAMESNETstanbot.chan. Dropping and * Warning! Could not write pid.GAMESNETs file! then it says Launced into the background (pid: 1823) only the bot never joins the channel.

that's about it.

(heh.... I'm looking at the string about 3 posts below this one now... pay no attention to this thread... move along )
