Have you correctly setup the connection sequance.<br><br>The information includes a login name, hostname, directory and login method.<br><br>You can test that you have this correct, by typing the following at the shell.<br><blockquote class="uncited"><div>cvs login -d:pserver:<a href="mailto:anonymous@cvs.eggheads.org">anonymous@cvs.eggheads.org</a>:/usr/local/cvsroot</div></blockquote>If this works, then you can post the login information into the environment variable, or, once you have downloaded a CVS version, it will be stored within the CVS datafile, and will not need to be set again, unless you delete the CVS datafile.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=2">ppslim</a> — Thu Jul 11, 2002 4:57 pm</p><hr />
