Can I ask where you changed the need-op setting?

have you done it in the config file, channel file or somwhere else?

What did you do after the change? rehash, .die, .restart?

Read .help chanset .help chaninfo that will help you to fix it

hi,
i changed the need-ops, updated the config file and it's still using the old message ("op me cos im lame"). the eggdrop is now suppose to privmsg nickserv to auth, which would then give it ops. i've done .rehash, .die (started it back up with ./eggdrop and let autobotchk start it) and it still doesn't do the new thing. can someone help me?
