Are the hostmasks for the users correct. Unless the hosts match, there is no way for the bot to know if they are +f or +o

EEK, if having to put masters on ignore as well as the bot, then you have one of 2 problems.

Your mesters have the same hostnames as the bot in question.

Or you are using rather low flood settings.

Remember, floor settings for use to protect from a flood, not from high traffic.

I do not have as much time to look insode eggdrop as I used to, but shouldn't the +dontkickops channel setting fix this?

how does the +f flag prevend my bot to be kicked?

It is on +f from the moment i started using the eggy.

and putting it on ignore, that means i have to ignore the bots masters also.

isn't there anything else that can be done?

Or is it possible to create an option for that on the next release of the eggdrop bot? *hint*

just for ONE bot you want flood-chan off? what about the other flooder?

bind flud?
he maybe someone like me who doesnt know much about tcl, then?

.chattr the bot to +f or put it on .ignore, thats what i did to my bots once.

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is a script that prevents the bannning/kicking from people that have the op or friends flag?

For example i have a relay bot, it relays messages to channels where people can read the info they want to see. my eggdrop bot keeps kicking that bot for flooding the channel.

Is there anything that can be done about that?
