Hi, I'm having an issue with my eggdrop bot. I'm using an older build so I can use the MegaHal module and would like a Megahal bot in my channel. However when I start the bot and telnet to it says it's connected to the twitch irc network but never joins my channel. If I check the status it always says its been on Twitch.Tv irc for 01 or 00 seconds, as if it keeps reconnecting or something. The channel status always says pending.

I've tested it using EFnet and having it join a channel and it works fine. Is there anything special about twitch that I need to do? Thanks.

EDIT:

Does it have to do with the server password requiring the oauth and it containing a colon? E.g. "oauth:JDJDDJDDHD"

I saw this in the search feature but no solution:

http://forum.egghelp.org/viewtopic.php? ... ight=oauth

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
Statistics: Posted by GargamelLives — Fri Jun 19, 2015 8:46 am
