I got this error only when I go with my ZNC.<br>I set up my IRC client as follows:<br><span style="text-decoration:underline">mIRC / Options / Local</span><br><br>On connet, always get:<br>I selected IP address<br>Lookup method:<br>I selected Normal<br>Host name:<br>xx.ip-xxx-xxx-xx.eu (ZNC host)<br>IP address:<br>xxx.xxx.xx.xx (ZNC my address)<br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline">mIRC / Options / Ports</span><br>Port range:<br>First port: 1024<br>Last port: 6000<br>I selected DCC Send, Get, and Chat connections<br>UPnP support:<br>I selected IP address, DCC and Identd server connections only.<br>In my eggdrop.conf configuration file:<br># Telnet port<br>listen 3333 bots<br>listen 4444 users<br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline">If type on my VPS</span>:<br>ps aux | grep -i eggdrop<br> returns:<br>3172 143104 juanamores62400.0 0.1 pts / 2S 12:56 0:00 ./eggdrop<br>juanamores 6252 0.0 0.0 112660 944 pts / 2 S 12:57 0:00 grep --color = au<br>Those numbers mean?  one is the port of the bot?<br><br>Why I can get into the party line to <span style="color:green"><strong class="text-strong">/ctcp chat bot</strong></span><br>and does not allow me to <span style="color:red"><strong class="text-strong">/dcc chat bot</strong></span>?<br>DCC invalid port: CHAT (juanamores!<a href="mailto:juan@my.servedr.host">juan@my.servedr.host</a>)<br><br><span style="color:red"><strong class="text-strong">EDIT:</strong></span> another important info<br>If I do /whois mynick in IRC network<br>/whois juanamores<blockquote class="uncited"><div>juanamores is actually <a href="mailto:juan@xx.ip-xxx-xxx-xx.eu">juan@xx.ip-xxx-xxx-xx.eu</a> [xxx.xx.xxx.xx] =&gt; Host and IP of my ZNC</div></blockquote>but, in party line:<br><blockquote class="uncited"><div>08:14 ?          juanamores ¦ .whom<br>08:14 :  mybot ¦ [08:14:42] #channelx# whom<br>08:14 :  mybot ¦ Nick Bot Host<br>08:14 :  mybot ¦ ---------- --------- --------------------<br>08:14 :  mybot ¦ *juanamores BOT <a href="mailto:telnet@rxxx-xx-xx-xx.dialing.adsl.compay.net">telnet@rxxx-xx-xx-xx.dialing.adsl.compay.net</a>. =&gt; host ip and my phone company ( where I connect ) <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":o" title="Surprised"><br>08:14 :  mybot ¦ Total users: 1</div></blockquote>It is this hybrid form of log on at home with ZNC not work with the bot.<br>The bot recognizes that I am connected from my home and the host IP and that I have on the IRC network is not the same .  <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" title="Razz"><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=12499">juanamores</a> — Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:07 am</p><hr />
