I would also like to know how tcl tls can be incorporated into a Windrop too, as sometimes I use one for random testing.

Mainly need it for certain scripts that fail to get info from a 'https' URL, because tls is missing.

EDIT: I WAS ABLE TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE BY:

Downloading tls167.dll for Cygwin/Windows from:

http://teapot.activestate.com/package/n ... 6/file.zip

Once downloaded, I extracted the contents of the '.zip' file to my /Windrop/lib folder and restarted the bot.

https now works a treat.

___

I found the information on how to do it at:

https://forum.eggdrop.fr/printthread.php?tid=1609
Statistics: Posted by Sane — Mon May 07, 2018 5:08 pm

I installed Windrop 1.8 using the .exe I downloaded from the Windrop site.

The script I want to use has "package require tls" so I downloaded "tls1.6-win64.zip" from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tls/files/tls/1.6/

In my eggdrop.conf, I loaded tls.tcl successfully, but the script still says I don't have tls. I am guessing that I need to install TLS on my computer, separate from Windrop.
Statistics: Posted by daigo — Sun Jul 27, 2014 11:06 am
