It means, that I used the script some time ago and yesterday I just found it in some sub-folders. And since no one uploaded/added the latest version and the website/domain/server is down I thought I may upload it. Also the version in the TCl archive is the v2.4.

Already built into the bot.
Do: /msg botnick help op
and assuming you are bot owner, it will respond with brief help.

or other users, given the user has a particular flag on the eggdrop. Also, be able to kick a user.

This would be probably be a simple tcl script to write, and a great place to start learning how to do it.
If you wish to do so, let me know and I'll find you a couple links to pages to visit that will immensely help you get started.

I'd also like to make it to where I can rehash or restart the bot from a command in the channel vs. having to open a connection to the bot.

Not sure why you would want to do this (remember - if you do things like this from within a DCC chat with the bot, then you have logged in and id'd with a password. It is more secure. ) , but again, you could write a script to do it.

Here is a script that brings most of eggdrop commands to channel plus other channel settings and protection. Will appreciate any ideas, bug reports that anyone might have.
