Eggdrop 1.6.21 patched for BogusTrivia !!

There is now an official Eggdrop patch to allow BogusTrivia to run on the Eggdrop version 1.6.21 .

If you want to run BogusTrivia on the 1.6.21 Eggdrop, Please download and apply the "timerworkaround.patch.gz by thommey" from here: http://www.egghelp.org/files.htm#patches

All of the above BogusTrivia errors (and many others) are caused by a bug with the utimers command on Eggdrop 1.6.21 . We have reported this bug to the current Eggdrop team and were assured they would track it down as soon as possible. There is nothing I can do to work around this Eggdrop bug.

This same Eggdrop bug will also explain why the rest of your timer driven scripts are also not running so well.

At this time the work around would be to run BogusTrivia on Eggdrop 1.6.15-1.6.20

All current versions of BogusTrivia will Not run on eggdrop v1.6.21

We are working to resolve the timer issues.

At this time the work around would be to run BogusTrivia on eggdrop 1.6.15-1.6.20

it's timer problem probably. when i had the same error, i was restarting the bot and it was fixing the issue.

I am running eggdrop v1.6.21, on FreeBSD 7.4-RELEASE-p5

I am having these same issues in addition to its giving the answers before asking the questions.

It will run perfectly through about 8 questions then it buggars up .

eggdrop v1.6.21
OS: FreeBSD 9.0-RELEASE
Tcl version: 8.5.11 (header version 8.5.11)
BogusTrivia 2.06.4.4

.restart the bot, and it seem to run fine for a while. Then the things described in previous posts begin.

Also, the time between hints becomes very, very short.

Additional info:
un-installed 2.06.4.4 , then installed 2.06.4 because 2.06.4 runs fine on another bot of mine.
On this bot, described above... same results as with 2.06.4.4 ... goes crazy after a while.

Here are some typical error messages, seen in partyline:

[13:08:56] Tcl error in script for 'timer22744':
[13:08:56] no such binding
[13:08:58] Tcl error in script for 'timer22745':
[13:08:58] can't read "t2(-kusrls)": no such element in array
[13:09:53] Tcl error in script for 'timer22752':
[13:09:53] no such binding

and

[13:21:57] Tcl error in script for 'timer22871':
[13:21:57] can't use empty string as operand of "/"

For what it is worth - the bot that runs 2.06.4 fine is :
eggdrop v1.6.20
OS: Linux 2.6.18-238.19.1.el5.028stab092.2
Tcl version: 8.5.8 (header version 8.5.

I have been waiting for the reply but i see no progress. If anyone of you are facing the same problem , please post it here and if anyone of you have fix this error let us know.
I might have had this before. How are you loading this script? Just t-2.tcl or all of them? If it's all of them, then try just loading t-2.tcl

We are also facing the same problem and have loaded only t-2.tcl but the problem is still the same. Any other options to resolve this issue.

I am using the latest version of Bogus Trivia i.e, v2.06.4.4 . It works fine for a while, but after few minutes it starts acting weird. Lemme show you how it looks.
