I am looking for something that would be a quick and easy way to gather scores or schedule times for the upcoming NFL season. I'm thinking something such as:

!current mia would return: MIA 13 @ NE 28; or Miami is not currently playing.
!next mia would return: MIA @ ATL 9/18, 1 PM
!last mia would return: MIA 13 @ NE 38 9/11
!week 2 would return: All games for the given week, in addition to scores if the game has already been played.

I know very little about tcl scripting, but I thought maybe looking over the TVRage script could have got me started in the right direction. However, I was horribly wrong.

I would love to see this potentially expanding outside of just NFL scores as well, becoming a full fledged ircSportsCenter.

If this job is too epic, please let me know. I appreciate all your hard work.

-clubbprez
Statistics: Posted by clubbprez — Sat Sep 10, 2011 6:25 am
