I'll list it in order of the different things I tried being the last one bring prob why it worked.
1. Redid the eggdrop.conf
2. Used the correct repositories for OS
3. Slowly and installed each thing needed instead of batch installing
4. reinstalled Yast from scratch
5. compile everything I needed in steps to see which part eggdrop wouldn't work on.

Hello, so I have this error, I've searched google and this forum but I haven't found anything.

I've tried it on cygwin and doing a windrop before with no problem. I've done a full re-install of the Opensuse 11 that I'm using. This is on a VPS if that helps. I'm not sure what else is needed, so I'll wait for feedback first.
