sorry for bump.. i tried using latest eggdrop,still same.

im using InspIRCD. dont have @~& char.

any idea?

Yeah, bot is on the channel, it has +o.
There has to be smth with this "pending" state imo aswell.
upgrade would be great, but it seems like "why fix the bot if it's working and doing everything else perfy". If I'll ever upgrade, I'll let u guys know how did it do!

"pending" is a state where eggdrop has physically joined the channel, asked for some information about it from the server (/WHO) but didn't receive a reply (or doesn't know it received a reply). Does an upgrade to eggdrop1.6.20 fix the issue?

There's the clue.
Your bot is not on that channel.

Here is an example of what that line looks like, when bot is on a channel:

#trivia             :   6 members, enforcing "+tn" (greet)

There is some reason that the bot is not joining that channel (or at least the bot doesn't think it is in that channel).

When you join that channel yourself, do you see the bot there?

Hey guys!

I just set up an eggdrop and it is running fine. I can make a DCC chat with it and also a telnet. But, there is some problem, that I cannot solve. When I try to make a command like .op mynick #channel the bot is saying:

I'm not on #channel right now!

And does nothing. It is strange, because the bot is on that #channel, and I am also on that #channel. What could be a problem?

Any advice will be helpful. Thank you!
