I have dedicated gaming servers for predominatly Battlefield 2, and I would like to have a script that gets the chat log from the server via a RCON port and displays it on an IRC channel.

There are multiple admin panels that are able to receive the chatlogs using the server's rcon port, so it should be possible.

I know there is a bot named 'BF2 IRC Bot' that can do this, but it needs to be installed on the gameserver itself which isn't always possible.

I'm fairly new to Eggdrop, and i'm wondering how complicated it would be to write such a script?
