I'm a bit baffled by the lack of response from the bot.<br><br>I wonder if you are using the correct password.<br><br>If you have nothing important in the user file, you might want to remove it, and just start over... with the  hello process, to make yourself owner again, and then set your password again.<br><br>Or, see:<br><a href="http://www.egghelp.org/faq.htm#016" class="postlink">http://www.egghelp.org/faq.htm#016</a><br>as that explains how to just remove the present password, so that you can then proceed to set it again.<br><br>Perhaps I've missed something obvious too. Let us know what happens.<br><br>I've tried the above... using putty, on my Windows 7 computer,  while running Windrop on the same computer.   (Using the 'listen' port that my bot is config'd for),   and I could log in to my test Windrop.<br><br>Ok on Icechat.   I'm not familiar with it though.<br><br>For your router's configuration:<br>Examine your router for brand name, model number, etc.<br>Then visit:   <a href="http://portforward.com/" class="postlink">http://portforward.com/</a><br>At that site, are listed MANY routers,  along with step-by-step intructions for forwarding ports.
