For starters, scripts are not loaded automatically. You'll have to edit your config-file and add proper 'source' commands. I got the bot Eggdrop V1.6.15. installed in the shell account on an Unix based server, and the bot to join the channel on the IRC. But the bot doesn't respond to any commands.
