I would like my Ops to authenticate to my bot with a command and password then have the bot grant ops to them. How would I do this?
Try this command:
/msg botnick help op
where "botnick" is your bot's nickname.

Bot will respond with:
-botnick- /MSG botnick OP <password> [channel]
-botnick- Ops you on any channel where I have ops and you don't. If a channel name is specified, you will only be opped on that channel.


Will that do what what you wish?

Btw, I am using it on Freenode with eggdrop ver 1.6.19.
