Just a tip:
can you make it so that we can specify the deafult language, and not add it every single time in the line?
for example: after setting deafult language 'uk', when !meteo london it displays the info in english (because it's the deafult langage)..

About the weather tcl script from murf@mindless.com.

After Wunderground monkeyed around with their website, I emailed him...he said that he had already gottena about a 1/2 dozen emails, and would be modifying the script over the next few weeks.

A new version of "International Weather Script" is released.
It's the version 0.62.
What's new :
* A better bug log so it's more easy for me to find the error.
* You can now choose how the result should be displayed (chan, pv, notice)
* Bugfixes with Windrop
* If we can't find a city but there is a country (fr, de, uk, us,...) The script redirect to the local weather link (fr.weather.com, weather.co.uk..)

I use Eggdrop 1.6.10 and TCL 8.3 too...
So I don't think it's the problem.
I will make a new version where you can put on the debug file in the configuration of the script. So I will know exactly what is the problem after that

thanks for your reply, my assumption is, it works for you, because you use an older Eggdrop and maybe older/newer TCL version. I have eggdrop v1.6.10, Tcl version: 8.3.1 (header version 8.3.1).

I get still the msg "Sorry we don't have the weather of the city you ask for."

I know you can send a /msg to it and it will reply back, but i have a few channels that have alot of people in them and would like it to work via notice there, while a few other channels i would like it doing it publicly.

Yes it's a good idea. I will make that in the next version

Other thing is, i just went up to this .61 from .6 i belive, and coudlnt get it to run. had a few times that it said to me that it ran into a bug and to send off the error report, but looking at the report, there really wasnt anything there cept what eggdrop version i was running.

Ill relook at the script again in a few dayz for right now im running around 103.3 temp. so really out of it, might be user error on my part. Thanks

"Sorry we don't have the weather of the city you ask for."

btw., the german weather.com site supports german zip codes ie: 83250 = Marquartstein
If possible, add zip for germany

Hello !

All european countrys work meanwhile, its just strange that dont need an country code for some cities/countries.

Example:
.wz Berlin de <--- doesnt work
.wz Berlin <--- works

Hello !

I tried your latest meteo.tcl today. It works so far good, but i cant get the weather infos for cities in germany, sweden, spain. I choosed "us" in the tcl.
I tried "de" and "uk", same problem.
France, Greece, Belgium, Norway works.
